Put the contents of the packet into a pot. Add two spoonfuls of butter, a medium size potato diced into small cubes and a glass of water, and cook for about 10 minutes. Crush a clove of garlic and put it in, together with salt. Continue cooking for 5 minutes, and then blend the mixture. Put in one glass of water; add pepper, nutmeg or ginger, and bring to a boil. Serve with puff pastry croutons, roasted pumpkin seeds, or other favourite additions.
